About

I'm a technical product owner at Meijer Digital and the founder of SharperFlow, a small studio where I build developer tools that sharpen workflows. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

My career has been a steady thread of building and improving software systems — from writing internal apps at Gordon Food Service, to architecting quality measurement across 170+ applications, to leading cross-team delivery on identity, payments, and fraud prevention at Meijer. I studied Business Management at Hope College with minors in Computer Science and Communications.

I believe great software starts with empathy — understanding what people actually need and removing everything in their way. Sensible defaults, honest interfaces, and a direct path from intent to outcome.

Outside of code, I'm a dad, a baseball fan, a 3D printing enthusiast, and someone who believes a good morning starts with a good cup of coffee.

Things I care about

Coffee Morning ritual, afternoon fuel
Baseball The thinking person's sport
3D Printing Making ideas tangible
Fatherhood The best project I'll ever ship
Open Source Building tools I want to use
Pokemon Cards Collecting and pricing — hence PokeEdge
